Arts Ed x Arts North Studios: Musical Theatre Summer School (Age 14-16)

Experience a week in the life of a BA Musical Theatre student, with a mock audition workshop so you will be ready to give your best! Students work with tutors from Arts North and ArtsEd, and experience classes and workshops in:
· Singing (ensemble sessions)
· Acting
· Musical Theatre
· A mock audition day – learn about audition etiquette and interview tips, all inside knowledge from industry professionals!

Spaces are limited and highly sought after, so please book quickly to avoid disappointment!

Students will need to bring:
· Ballet shoes
· Jazz shoes
· Clothes you can move freely in to be worn daily

Students should prepare the following:
· One monologue (either classical or contemporary). It should be no longer than 1.5 minutes
· One musical theatre song – you should prepare and perform a section lasting no longer than one minute

Please bring sheet music with you All your pieces should be learnt by heart before the course begins.
