Presented by Metropolis Music, the show gives North East audiences another chance to catch a band whose rise has gathered serious pace over the last couple of years. Doors are at 7pm, with the Boiler Shop date forming part of a wider UK and Ireland run next spring.

BLEECH 9:3 return to Newcastle
BLEECH 9:3 have built their reputation quickly. After a busy 2025 that included support slots with Keo and Shame, alongside sold-out headline shows of their own, the band rounded off the year with a three-night residency at London’s Blue Basement.
That momentum has continued into a much bigger touring schedule. The Boiler Shop show arrives as part of the band’s BLEED Tour 2027, which also takes in Brighton, Cardiff, Liverpool, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds and more.
The Newcastle date should suit BLEECH 9:3 particularly well. Their live sound can move from sharper, more melodic passages into much heavier bursts of distortion, with influences stretching from Radiohead, Deftones and Nirvana through to more recent names including Fontaines D.C. and Sleep Token.
A band gathering momentum
What makes the timing of this show interesting is just how quickly BLEECH 9:3 are moving. They have already managed to create a sizeable live following without needing a huge back catalogue behind them, with much of the excitement around the band coming from word of mouth and the intensity of their shows.
By the time they reach Boiler Shop next April, there should be considerably more for that audience to get stuck into. The tour accompanies the next stage of the band’s story and follows the announcement of their debut album BLEED, giving the Newcastle show the feel of a step up rather than simply another date on the circuit.
For anyone who caught BLEECH 9:3 earlier in their rise, Boiler Shop offers the chance to see how far they have developed. For everyone else, it could be a well-timed introduction to one of the newer alternative bands attracting plenty of attention on the live circuit.
