Bywater Call bring their seven-piece sound to Newcastle
Fronted by Meghan Parnell, the band blend Southern soul, blues, roots rock and horn-led arrangements. Their line-up features Parnell (lead vocals), Dave Barnes (guitar), Bruce McCarthy (drums and percussion), Mike Meusel (bass), Andrew Moljgun (keyboards), Stephen Dyte (trumpet and valve trombone) and Julian Nalli (saxophone).
Renowned for their live performances, the band have earned a third consecutive nomination for International Act of the Year at the UK Blues Awards. Their sound moves across genres without losing the interplay between Parnell’s vocals and the musicians around her.
