Hear’Say and Liberty X will reunite on the same stage in Newcastle when Popstars: The Originals arrives at Utilita Arena on Tuesday 4 May 2027. Twenty-five years after the ITV talent show brought both groups to national attention, the two acts are joining forces for an arena tour celebrating the songs and stories that followed.

It’s an unusual reunion because the bands’ histories have been linked from the very start. Hear’Say were assembled as the winners of Popstars in 2001, while the five remaining finalists went on to become Liberty X.
