About ArcTanGent Festival
ArcTanGent specialises in adventurous guitar music, bringing post-rock, experimental metal, progressive rock and related sounds together on a compact multi-stage site. The 2027 edition moves to Todenham Manor Farm near Moreton-in-Marsh after previous years at Fernhill Farm. The organisers say the festival will retain its familiar stage layout and capacity, with camping close to the arena.
2027 line-up: North East artists
Smote – Thursday 19 August: Newcastle-based Daniel Foggin’s experimental project appears on the Thursday bill. The festival’s artist page confirms the day but has not announced a performance time.
The Wildhearts – Saturday 21 August: The Newcastle-formed rock band will play a special progressive set. The festival confirms Saturday for their appearance, with the exact time still to follow.
Blood Incantation and Neurosis lead the first announcement, alongside SLIFT, The Ocean, Messa, Conjurer, Employed to Serve, Holy Fawn and others. Further names and running orders may be announced nearer the event.
