The group’s roots go back to the early 1990s, when Neil Sheasby and Neil Jones first met. From there, Stone Foundation developed into a full live band with a warm, groove-led sound. Their work has never existed in isolation either. Across their career they have collaborated with Paul Weller, Bettye LaVette, William Bell, Mick Talbot, Kathryn Williams, Carleen Anderson, Melba Moore and Hamish Stuart, among others.
