Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn announce final tour with Newcastle farewell show

Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn Newcastle fans will get one final chance to see the duo together when their Goodbye For Now farewell tour reaches Newcastle University on Thursday 25 February 2027.

After 15 years of making music together, Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn have announced that their forthcoming album Goodbye For Now and accompanying UK dates will close this chapter of the project. The tour begins in Bristol before travelling through Manchester and Newcastle, with further dates including Nottingham, London and a hometown finale in Brighton.

What began with two friends making songs as teenagers developed into a catalogue with a particularly close relationship to its audience. Rather than framing the final shows simply as another tour, the pair are presenting them as a chance to celebrate the music and the community that has grown around it.

The Newcastle date falls early in the farewell run, arriving at Newcastle University Students’ Union on 25 February. The show is scheduled for 7pm, with under-14s required to attend with an adult over 18.

Goodbye For Now gives the tour its title and provides a natural endpoint after a decade and a half of releases and live shows. For listeners who have grown alongside the duo, the Newcastle performance should mix that sense of an ending with a celebration of the songs that brought the audience together in the first place.
