I Want It All brings Queen spectacle to The Cluny

I Want It All at The Cluny brings a full-scale Queen tribute show into one of Newcastle’s most intimate live rooms on Friday 18 June 2027. Doors open at 7.30pm and advance tickets are £15 plus fees.

I Want It All at The Cluny: Queen anthems at close range

The show is built around more than a run through the obvious singles. I Want It All aims to recreate the sweep of Queen’s live sound with layered vocal harmonies, a large orchestral feel and the kind of dynamic shifts that made the original band’s concerts much bigger than standard rock sets.

That approach is especially interesting in The Cluny. Queen’s music was made for large spaces, but bringing those arrangements into a compact Ouseburn room changes the experience. The choruses become more communal, the guitar detail becomes easier to hear and the theatrical side of the performance has nowhere to hide.

The band have taken the production around the UK and Europe, building a reputation around a high-energy stage show and sets that stretch beyond two hours. That gives the Newcastle date room to move past the best-known songs and into deeper parts of the catalogue rather than feeling like a short greatest-hits package.

Tribute shows work best when they understand why the source material connected in the first place. With Queen, that means melody, drama and the willingness to move from hard rock to piano ballads and arena-sized pop without apology. I Want It All’s job is to hold those contrasts together while keeping the performance immediate.
