KMP Quintal Brings Kizomba and Semba to The Globe on 1 October

KMP Quintal takes over The Globe in Newcastle on Thursday 1 October 2026 for an evening built around kizomba, semba and Afro-influenced dance music. The session runs from 7pm until midnight, with DJ Tó Correia handling the music. Rather than a club night arranged around a string of competing headline sets, this is a social event focused on the relationship between the music and the people on the dance floor.

The name Quintal is inspired by traditional backyard gatherings in Angola. In this context, it means a place where people can spend an evening together, dance, talk and share music without the formality of a class or a staged performance.
