Courteeners, The Coral and Seb Lowe in Newcastle
Fronted by Liam Fray, Courteeners have built their live reputation around songs including ‘Not Nineteen Forever’, ‘Are You In Love With A Notion?’, ‘Modern Love’ and ‘The 17th’. Their 2008 debut St. Jude famously reached Number One on the UK Albums Chart in 2023, fifteen years after its original release.
The Newcastle show follows the release of the band’s career-spanning collection God Bless The Band, which reached Number Two in the UK Albums Chart. It brings together music from all seven studio albums, alongside new songs ‘The Luckiest Man Alive’ and ‘Plus One Forever’, produced by Fray and James Skelly of The Coral.
The Coral also appear on several dates of Courteeners’ newly announced outdoor run. The Merseyside band will share the Newcastle bill with Seb Lowe, whose name also features on the Scarborough date.
