Joshua Burnside Newcastle Gig at Wylam Brewery
Joshua Burnside brings his It’s Not Going To Be Okay Tour to Wylam Brewery, Newcastle, on 12 May 2027. Tickets go on sale 10 September.
The Joshua Burnside Newcastle gig will bring the Belfast songwriter and producer to Wylam Brewery on Wednesday 12 May 2027. The newly announced date forms part of Burnside’s It’s Not Going To Be Okay Tour, with tickets due to go on sale at 10am on Thursday 10 September 2026.

Joshua Burnside Newcastle gig details
Burnside announced a run of major 2027 shows through his official channels, including stops in Brighton, London, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Dublin and Belfast. For the North East date, he will perform at Wylam Brewery’s Palace of Arts, a spacious Newcastle venue that should suit the scale and atmosphere of his experimental folk music.
- Artist: Joshua Burnside
- Venue: Wylam Brewery, Palace of Arts, Newcastle upon Tyne
- Date: Wednesday 12 May 2027
- Doors: 7pm
- Tickets: On sale Thursday 10 September 2026 at 10am
- Support: Special guests to be confirmed
Although Burnside is often filed under folk, his records have never stayed neatly inside one lane. Instead, he folds traditional songwriting into restless arrangements, subtle electronics and a strong sense of place. As a result, the Newcastle show should appeal both to established followers and to listeners who prefer their folk music with stranger edges.
A bigger 2027 tour
The Wylam Brewery appearance sits near the end of the UK and Ireland run, following shows in Brighton, London, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow. It then continues to Dublin and Belfast. Meanwhile, the Newcastle listing describes the bill as Joshua Burnside plus special guests, so there may still be more names to come.
Wylam Brewery and primary ticket seller Gigantic both confirm the date and 7pm doors. Tickets have not yet gone on general sale, but the Gigantic listing is already live and allows fans to set a reminder before sales open.
Tickets and the latest availability can be checked through the official Gigantic event page. Further venue information is available from Wylam Brewery’s live events page.
