Emo Night Brings Failed to Ignite, Wallride The Bells & Craig Roddam to The Forum Darlington

Emo Night at The Forum Darlington lands on Saturday 26 September 2026 with Failed to Ignite, Wallride The Bells and Craig Roddam taking over the main stage for a night built around emo and pop-punk favourites.

The set promises songs associated with Blink-182, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, My Chemical Romance, The Offspring and more. Rather than relying on a DJ-only format, the night puts live performers at the centre of the bill, giving those familiar songs a louder, more immediate feel inside The Forum.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with the show expected to begin at around 8.30pm. Tickets are £7 in advance, and the event is standing. The Forum lists the night as 16+, with anyone under 18 required to attend with an adult.

Failed to Ignite is already familiar to SoundBite readers through the North East scene. The solo pop-punk and emo project builds a full-band sound live using guitar, drums and a loop pedal, layering the performance in front of the audience rather than relying on a conventional backing band. His music draws on the melodic side of emo and pop-punk while keeping the rawer, more personal edge that runs through the genre.

There has been plenty of new music from Failed to Ignite in 2026 too, including Sad Song and Groundhog Day. The latter arrived in May, while his current Spotify artist pick points listeners towards Lying Through Your Teeth, giving the Darlington appearance a timely link to his latest material as well as the emo favourites at the heart of the night.

Wallride The Bells and Craig Roddam add more variety to the line-up. That makes this more than a straight tribute night. Instead, it is a live celebration of the songs and bands that helped shape the emo and pop-punk era, with each act bringing its own performance style to the material.

The relatively low ticket price should also make this one of the more accessible live nights in The Forum’s autumn calendar. For anyone who grew up with this music, or who has discovered it through the current revival, the combination of live bands and a compact venue should suit the material particularly well.
