About The Globe
The Globe has been community owned since 2014 and runs as a music-focused venue with a broad programme of concerts, jam sessions, workshops and regular participation events. Its calendar includes local artists, touring acts and specialist jazz and folk programming.
What to expect at The Globe
The Globe is an intimate grassroots venue where event formats vary from seated jazz performances to standing band nights and informal jam sessions. Under-16s can attend many events with an adult, while 16 and 17 year olds may attend unaccompanied subject to the venue’s licensing rules and event-specific restrictions.
