Leazes Reveal Support Acts for Debut UK Headline Tour
Leazes confirm Parlay, Joe Bartley and more emerging artists for their eight-date Faces and Places UK tour, ending at Digital Newcastle in November.
Newcastle indie band Leazes have announced the support acts for their first UK headline tour, bringing a selection of emerging indie and alternative artists along for the eight-date Faces and Places run this November.
Table Of Content
The tour begins at The Lending Room in Leeds on Saturday 7 November before heading through Scunthorpe, Sheffield, Glasgow, Stockton, London and Manchester. It finishes with a hometown show at Digital Newcastle on Thursday 26 November, where London indie outfit Parlay and North East singer-songwriter Joe Bartley will join the band.

Parlay and Joe Bartley join Newcastle finale
The Newcastle date brings together Leazes, London indie outfit Parlay and North East singer-songwriter Joe Bartley for a homecoming that feels particularly significant for the five-piece. Parlay are also confirmed for Leazes’ show at KU Stockton on Friday 20 November, giving North East audiences two opportunities to catch the bands on the same bill.
Elsewhere, the support line-up features After Midnight, The Dulakes, Shale and Casino Club, with the artists appearing on selected dates throughout the tour.
For Leazes, the announcement adds another dimension to their first national headline run. Rather than simply taking their own music to new cities, they are sharing the shows with artists who are also making their way through the grassroots music scene.
A big year for Leazes
The tour follows a busy 2026 for the Newcastle band, whose melodic alternative indie rock and energetic live performances have helped them build a following beyond the North East.
Their 2026 festival bookings included Truck Festival, Kendal Calling and Stockton Calling, alongside support slots and recognition from BBC Introducing.
Songs including Sun’s Out, Melissa In Action, Hers and I’ve Been Waiting have formed part of a growing catalogue built around memorable melodies and big choruses.
After spending much of the year playing festival stages and supporting other artists, the Faces and Places tour gives Leazes the opportunity to take their own headline show around the country.
Giving emerging artists their opportunity
For smaller artists, a support slot can introduce their music to an audience who might otherwise never have encountered them. For gig-goers, it can mean arriving to see one band and leaving with another new favourite.
That is particularly relevant to the Newcastle finale, where Leazes will share the bill at Digital with two emerging artists. The venue lists a 7pm start on Thursday 26 November, with tickets available through its official live-events calendar.
Meet the support acts
The tour’s supporting artists cover more ground than one corner of indie rock. London band Parlay draw on alternative rock and hook-driven songwriting, with influences including The Police, Cage the Elephant, Radiohead and Fontaines D.C. Joe Bartley, from the North East, brings an energetic indie-rock and singer-songwriter approach, combining guitar-led songs with personal lyrics.
Leeds band The Dulakes lean towards atmospheric, heavier alternative rock, with shoegaze and post-grunge elements. Welsh outfit Shale bring lively, melody-led indie rock, while Wigan four-piece Casino Club favour big riffs and anthemic choruses, drawing on contemporary British guitar music and Britpop influences.
After Midnight complete the announced selection of support artists appearing across the tour.
Support artists vary between dates; check the band’s announcement for the bill at each venue.
