Leazes are a five-piece alternative indie rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne who have built serious momentum since emerging in 2024. Their sound centres on big melodic choruses, bright guitar lines and the kind of live energy that has quickly moved them from grassroots rooms into larger festival and support slots.
The band’s growing catalogue includes Melissa In Action, Sun’s Out, I’ve Been Waiting and 2026 single Hers.. BBC Introducing support has helped widen their audience, while their recent live activity has included festival appearances and a debut headline tour that takes the band beyond the North East without losing the hometown identity behind the songs.
Newcastle remains central to Leazes’ story, both in the way the band formed and in the importance of their local shows. Their 2026 run includes a homecoming date at Digital, giving the tour a natural final stop on home ground after a year of steadily bigger stages.
