Leazes Bring Their Rising Indie Sound to KU Stockton
Leazes head to KU Stockton on Friday 20 November 2026 for a headline show from one of the North East’s fastest-rising indie bands.
Leazes at KU Stockton gives Teesside another chance to catch one of the North East’s fastest-rising indie bands when they head to Prince Regent Street on Friday 20 November 2026. Doors are listed for 7pm, with the show running until 10.30pm, and the venue has confirmed a 14+ age restriction with under-18s accompanied by an adult.

The Newcastle band have built their reputation around energetic live shows and big, direct indie songwriting. KU’s official listing points to a run of sold-out headline dates as well as growing support from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio in the UK and USA, and Future Hits Radio. That momentum has also taken them onto increasingly prominent festival stages.
Leazes at KU Stockton continues a big 2026
What makes this Stockton date particularly interesting is where it lands in the band’s year. KU lists appearances at Hardwick Festival, Come Together Festival and South Tyneside Festival among their recent main-stage slots, while their wider 2025/26 schedule includes Stockton Calling, Truck Festival, Mouth of the Tyne and Lindisfarne Festival.
They’ve also shared stages with Nothing But Thieves, McFly and The K’s, while a tour with The Rosadocs added another sizeable run of live dates earlier in 2026. KU also highlights the band’s sold-out BBC Introducing headline appearance at The Glasshouse earlier this year. Taken together, it’s a decent marker of how quickly Leazes have moved from promising local act to a band appearing regularly on larger North East bills.
KU should suit them well. The Stockton venue has a long-standing place on the Teesside live circuit, and a headline show in a relatively intimate room gives the band the chance to bring the energy of those festival appearances into a closer setting.
