The Commoners Bring Runnin’ Blind Tour to Anarchy Brew Co Newcastle
The Commoners play Anarchy Brew Co Newcastle on 25 November 2026 with Spencer Mackenzie, following new single Lost in the Highlights.
Canadian roots rock band The Commoners are coming to Anarchy Brew Co in Newcastle on Wednesday 25 November 2026, with blues guitarist Spencer Mackenzie joining them as special guest.
The Newcastle date comes just weeks after the release of their new single ‘Lost in the Highlights’, which arrived on 23 October. Mixed by Kevin Shirley, whose credits include The Black Crowes, Joanne Shaw Taylor and Joe Bonamassa, the track is the third preview of the band’s next studio album, due in 2027, following ‘Just Watch Me’ and ‘Runnin’ Blind’.
For anyone who likes their live music full of guitars, Hammond organ, big vocals and a hefty dose of Southern rock, this should be worth a look. The Toronto band have built a reputation on the strength of their live shows, and Anarchy’s gig room offers a particularly close-up way to see them.
Frontman Chris Medhurst explains that ‘Lost in the Highlights’ is about keeping grounded amid the pressure of touring and constantly chasing the next milestone. That sense of life on the road also runs through the band’s November tour, with Newcastle falling between Nottingham and the Winterstorm festival in Scotland.
