Stellacaster

Stellacaster are a four-piece indie rock band from County Durham, built around guitar-led songwriting and a direct, energetic live sound. Their music sits comfortably in the modern North East indie scene, favouring melody and momentum over unnecessary polish.

The band have developed through regular regional shows, with appearances across Sunderland, Newcastle and other North East grassroots venues. That steady live work has helped give the songs a stronger identity, particularly in smaller rooms where the guitars and rhythm section can hit with more immediacy.

County Durham remains an important part of the band’s story, but Stellacaster’s activity increasingly reaches across the wider region. Their appeal is rooted in straightforward indie rock done with enough character and energy to feel personal rather than generic.
