DRINK. DANCE. DISCO returns to Freight Island Newcastle

DRINK. DANCE. DISCO returns to Freight Island Newcastle on Saturday 17 October 2026, with the venue listing the session from 5pm until 1am.

The recurring Saturday format is part of Freight Island’s music-led weekend programme on Newgate Street. While the venue has not published individual artist names for this date, it has confirmed the DRINK. DANCE. DISCO branding and the full evening running time.

DRINK. DANCE. DISCO at Freight Island

The series is built around an extended night out rather than a single headline performance, with music running across the evening and into the early hours. Freight Island’s city-centre setting also means the session sits alongside the venue’s food and drink offering, so guests can arrive earlier and stay for the full programme.

The official listing currently shows the 17 October edition beginning at 5pm and ending at 1am. Freight Island is also advertising another DRINK. DANCE. DISCO date one week later on 24 October, so anyone planning a visit should make sure they select the correct Saturday when booking.

Freight Island advises that free tickets do not guarantee entry and that admission is still first come, first served and subject to capacity. The venue also operates a no re-entry policy and is completely cashless.
