Across his career, Murs has scored five UK number one albums and developed a major live following, with arena tours becoming a regular part of his career. His Tynemouth date will bring that live show to one of the North East’s most distinctive outdoor concert settings.

Alongside music, Murs spent six years as a coach on The Voice UK and is now part of the presenting team on Heart Breakfast. More recently, he completed a 400km run, row and ride challenge for Soccer Aid, helping to raise £1.3 million in donations.
The Thursday night concert is the first announcement for the 2027 edition of Mouth of the Tyne Festival, with further festival news still to come.
Olly Murs plays Tynemouth Priory and Castle on Thursday 8 July 2027. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 2 October.
