The Pogues Announce Greatest Hits Tour with Newcastle Show and Extra London Date

The Pogues will return to Newcastle this winter as their Greatest Hits Tour reaches O2 City Hall on Monday 7 December 2026. Following anniversary shows in the UK and North America, the group have announced a run across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe, plus an extra London date at O2 Forum Kentish Town on 15 December.

Original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer and Spider Stacy will lead the performances alongside a changing cast of guest singers and musicians. The tour promises a journey through The Pogues’ songbook, including Fairytale of New York, Dirty Old Town, A Pair of Brown Eyes, Rainy Night in Soho and If I Should Fall From Grace With God.

The Pogues return to Newcastle in December

The Newcastle concert takes place at O2 City Hall on Monday 7 December. The venue lists doors at 7pm, while the Newcastle ticket listing also names Martin Stephenson & the Daintees on the bill. Guest vocalists and musicians will join the core band on the tour; the full guest line-up for the Newcastle date has not been specified in this announcement.

The Pogues said they wanted to build on the reaction to their recent anniversary shows and take the celebration further. The announced UK dates also include Portsmouth, Nottingham, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, London and Glasgow.
