The Wandering Hearts – I’m Dreaming of a Wandering Hearts Christmas

The Wandering Hearts are bringing their own Christmas show to Sage Two on Sunday 6 December, with harmonies, Americana and a seasonal twist all on the menu.

I’m Dreaming of a Wandering Hearts Christmas gives the band a chance to step away from a standard tour set and lean into the time of year, while keeping the vocal blend and rootsy sound that made people pay attention to them in the first place.

The Wandering Hearts bring Christmas to Sage Two

The group have always sounded at their best when their voices meet in the middle, and that makes a Christmas show feel like a pretty natural fit. Seasonal songs tend to live or die on the harmonies, so there’s plenty of scope here for the band to make familiar material sound like their own.

Sage Two should suit them well too. It’s big enough to give the arrangements some room, but still close enough for the quieter parts of the set to feel personal.

The show lands on the Sunday of a weekend that also includes Home Alone in Concert in Sage One, so The Glasshouse will already be fully into Christmas mode by the time The Wandering Hearts take the stage.

For anyone who likes folk, country and Americana but doesn’t necessarily want a traditional Christmas concert, this feels like a good middle ground: recognisably festive, but still very much a Wandering Hearts show.
