PILGRIM Newcastle’s New Music Showcase returns on Monday 21 September 2026, bringing another free-entry night of original music to Pilgrim Street from 8:00pm until 11:45pm.
The weekly showcase is built around new songs and emerging performers, giving writers and musicians a chance to share original material while audiences can discover artists in an informal live setting.
New Music Showcase at PILGRIM Newcastle
PILGRIM describes the Monday session as a weekly showcase of original music for both fans and performers. The format is open and discovery-led rather than centred on a single headliner, making it one of the venue’s regular grassroots nights.
The venue itself has quickly become part of Newcastle’s live-music circuit, with a programme that mixes soul, funk, jazz, songwriter events and touring acts.
