Steve Hackett at The Glasshouse | Gateshead Gig Preview

Steve Hackett returns to The Glasshouse in Gateshead on Wednesday 21 October 2026 with his Best of Genesis & Solo Gems tour, bringing a career-spanning set to Sage One. The former Genesis guitarist is joined by Jonas Reingold, Rob Townsend, Nad Sylvan, Lalle Larsson and Felix Lehrmann, giving the show a full-band scale suited to both the progressive-rock material and Hackett’s solo catalogue.

The set is built around two strands of Hackett’s career, revisiting classic Genesis material while also making room for highlights from his extensive solo work. That balance gives the concert more shape than a straight retrospective, particularly with a band experienced in moving between atmospheric passages and the more technical side of progressive rock.
