Hannah Peel and Beibei Wang bring The Endless Dance to The Glasshouse Gateshead on 20 October 2026.
Hannah Peel and Beibei Wang bring The Endless Dance to The Glasshouse in Gateshead on Tuesday 20 October 2026, turning Sage Two into a meeting point between electronics, prepared piano and an expansive range of percussion. The collaboration grew from the pair’s earlier improvised performances and now centres on a shared album inspired by the 24 solar terms of the Chinese calendar.

Peel and Wang first worked together through Manchester Collective before developing a series of performances that leaned heavily on improvisation. That background gives the project a sense of freedom, with the music moving between electronic textures, traditional percussion and more unconventional sounds without forcing everything into a fixed genre.

The Glasshouse places the show within its Innovators strand, which feels appropriate for a project built around experimentation and shared musical space. Sage Two should suit the performance well because the room can hold the detail of the quieter textures while still giving the percussion enough physical impact.
The event is currently listed for 8pm, with standard tickets available. Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
