Moretallica Celebrate Three Metallica Milestones at The Forum Darlington
Moretallica return to The Forum Darlington on 30 October 2026 celebrating three major Metallica album anniversaries.
Moretallica at The Forum Darlington returns on Friday 30 October 2026 with a set built around three big Metallica anniversaries. The UK tribute band are marking 40 years of Master of Puppets, 30 years of Load and 10 years of Hardwired… to Self-Destruct, giving the night a clear theme rather than simply running through the same greatest-hits set they could play anywhere.
The date also follows sold-out Forum shows in 2024 and 2025, so this is a return visit rather than a first test of the room. Moretallica formed in 2012 and their current line-up features Freddy Vesty on rhythm guitar and vocals, Tim Brown on lead guitar, Jon Ford on bass and backing vocals, and Ollie King on drums and backing vocals. The band have built their reputation around recreating Metallica’s live sound with the same kind of gear, arrangements and stage energy rather than treating the songs as loose covers.
Moretallica at The Forum Darlington
The gig takes place at The Forum Music Centre in Darlington on Friday 30 October. Doors open at 7.30pm, with the show expected to start at around 8.30pm. Advance tickets are £14. The Forum lists the event as standing and strictly 16+, with under-18s required to attend with an adult.
The anniversary angle should give the set plenty of range. Master of Puppets represents Metallica at their thrash-metal peak, Load moves into a looser and more hard-rock-driven period, while Hardwired… to Self-Destruct brings the material much closer to the present day. That spread gives Moretallica room to move between deep cuts and the obvious anthems without the night feeling like a chronological checklist.
It also lands neatly at the start of Halloween weekend, one night before Darlington punks Major Accident return to the same stage. For anyone who prefers the heavier end of The Forum’s autumn calendar, the back-to-back dates make a strong finish to October.
