Definitely Oasis Return to a Sold-Out Forum Darlington

Definitely Oasis at The Forum Darlington returns on Friday 6 November 2026 for a sold-out night built around the songs, sound and attitude of Oasis. The tribute band focus on the era when the Manchester group moved from raw club shows into huge festival and stadium crowds, mixing the obvious singalong singles with the rougher guitar tracks that gave the original band their bite.

The Forum describes Definitely Oasis as a show designed to recreate the full Oasis experience rather than simply play the catalogue in order. That means the set can move between the massive choruses and the more direct rock songs without losing the swagger that made the originals so recognisable. With the Darlington date already sold out, there is clearly still a strong appetite for hearing that material in a small live room.

The gig takes place at The Forum Music Centre in Darlington on Friday 6 November. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show is expected to begin at around 8.30pm. Tickets were priced at £18 in advance, although the official Forum allocation is currently sold out. The event is standing and strictly 18+.

That smaller setting should suit the songs well. Oasis built plenty of their early reputation in rooms where the audience was almost on top of the band, and tracks such as Supersonic, Rock ’n’ Roll Star and Cigarettes & Alcohol make more sense with that kind of closeness than they do as polite theatre pieces. The bigger ballads and later anthems then give the set room to open up as the night goes on.

The date follows The Hanging Stars at the venue the night before, giving The Forum two very different takes on British guitar music across consecutive evenings. One is built around psychedelic country-rock and harmony, while this one is unapologetically aimed at the Britpop crowd.
