Charlie Floyd Heads to Breakthrough Festival at Future Yard
Charlie Floyd joins Breakthrough Festival at Future Yard on 31 October 2026 alongside Sunbeam, The Ariston, Weave and more.
Charlie Floyd at Breakthrough Festival takes the North East songwriter to Future Yard in Birkenhead on Saturday 31 October 2026 for an all-day celebration of emerging indie rock. Doors open at 2pm, with tickets listed at £15 advance plus booking fee.
Breakthrough Festival brings together a wide bill of developing acts from across the UK. Charlie Floyd appears alongside Sunbeam, The Ariston, Short Notice, Weave, Cutscene, The Corvids and Lost Legs, giving the day a strong mix of indie-rock, shoegaze and melodic alternative sounds. Future Yard describes the event as an indie-rock all-dayer focused on artists who are still building momentum rather than established festival names.
Floyd’s place on the bill comes during one of his busiest live periods of the year. The autumn run includes North East dates at Three Tanners Bank and The Globe, as well as his Mercury Prize Fringe appearance in Newcastle, before this trip to Merseyside. Moving onto a multi-act event outside the region gives him another opportunity to put his songs in front of a different audience while continuing to build the touring side of his live schedule.
The Future Yard listing highlights Floyd’s mix of strong melodies, memorable guitar lines and a vocal-led performance style, which should fit naturally into a day dominated by newer indie and alternative acts. With music beginning shortly after the 2pm doors and a live curfew of 11pm, the festival offers a much longer programme than a standard evening gig.
Future Yard is at 75 Argyle Street in Birkenhead. The show is standing, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets and the latest running information are available from the official Future Yard event page. You can also keep up with Charlie Floyd on SoundBite.
Because festival running orders can change, check Future Yard and the artists’ channels before travelling for final stage times and any line-up updates.
