RADAR Festival returns from Friday 30 July to Sunday 1 August 2027, moving to Magna in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The event brings progressive, experimental and alternative heavy music together, with North East-born solo artist Blood Lament among the confirmed names.

North East artists on the 2027 line-up

Blood Lament is included in RADAR’s first wave of 2027 artists, announced on 7 October 2026. The festival’s official artist profile describes the solo project as coming from a small mining town in North East England. A more precise hometown has not been confirmed in the official information checked.

Blood Lament’s work draws on metal and electronic influences. The project began releasing music in 2024 with the single ‘Father’. RADAR has confirmed the booking but has not yet allocated a specific day, stage or set time.

Mick Gordon is billed to present music from the DOOM soundtrack with a live band and orchestra. Arcane Roots, Volumes, Unprocessed, Conjurer, Textures, Vower, Allt, Avralize, The Algorithm, Karmanjakah, XO Armor, Revnoir, TheBoyShadow, Leeched, Every Hell, Cold Night For Alligators, Brightshade, Worn Out and Your Personal Vendetta also feature in the announcement.

RADAR’s new home at Magna
