Free Gigs in Newcastle

Looking for free gigs in Newcastle? SoundBite North East regularly lists free-entry live music, showcases and club events when the official event information confirms there is no ticket charge.

How to find free live music

Check Newcastle Gigs and Gigs This Weekend, then look for events where the official listing confirms free entry. We do not label an event as free unless the source makes that clear.

For grassroots and independent shows, the Newcastle Music Venues Guide is another useful starting point.

To find shows close to the date you want, compare tonight’s Newcastle gigs and this weekend’s Newcastle listings. Confirm free entry on the organiser’s official event page before setting off; some events have booking requirements even where admission is free.
