Leazes and Finn Forster Join In It Together Festival 2027 Line-Up
Newcastle band Leazes and Teesside singer-songwriter Finn Forster have been confirmed for In It Together Festival 2027 in Margam, Wales.
Two North East acts will be heading to Wales next May after Leazes and Finn Forster were named in the first wave of artists for In It Together Festival 2027.

The Newcastle five-piece and Teesside singer-songwriter both feature among the live acts announced for the three-day festival, which returns to Old Park Farm in Margam from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 May 2027.
It puts two of the region’s rising names on a bill that already includes Razorlight, JLS, Scouting For Girls, Lottery Winners, The Hoosiers, Toploader and Vengaboys, while Pendulum will play a DJ set on the festival’s Panchaia Fields line-up. Example has also been confirmed for the Thursday campers party.
Leazes continue their rise beyond the North East

For Leazes, the booking adds another significant festival appearance to a period in which the Newcastle band have been steadily moving onto bigger stages.
The five-piece — Joe King, Sam Dellow, Brandon Campbell, Ben Sanyamg and James Wake — have built their reputation around melodic alternative indie rock, big choruses and an energetic live show. Their recent catalogue includes Melissa In Action, Sun’s Out, I’ve Been Waiting and Hers., while BBC Introducing support has helped take their music to a wider audience.
Leazes have spent much of 2026 on the road, moving between major support slots, festivals and their own headline shows. They recently shared the bill with McFly at The Park Series in Newcastle’s Leazes Park, while their relationship with Sheffield indie band The Rosadocs has continued beyond the spring run: Leazes are also confirmed as support on further Rosadocs dates this autumn, including Birmingham’s O2 Institute2 in November.
The festival run has been extensive too. Across 2026, Leazes have appeared on bills including Hardwick Festival, Come Together Festival, South Tyneside Festival, Stockton Calling, Truck Festival, Kendal Calling, Mouth of the Tyne, Rock N Roll Circus, Lindisfarne Festival and Last Train Home, giving the band a much wider live footprint beyond their Newcastle base.
Alongside those support and festival appearances, Leazes are now preparing for their first UK headline tour. The eight-date Faces and Places run takes them through Leeds, Scunthorpe, Sheffield, Glasgow, Stockton, London and Manchester before finishing with a hometown show at Digital Newcastle on 26 November. That mix of headline dates, bigger support opportunities and a busy festival season makes their In It Together appearance feel like a continuation of a year in which the band have increasingly moved onto larger stages around the UK.
In It Together now gives the band another chance to take that momentum well beyond their home city in 2027, appearing alongside a broad mix of established artists and emerging acts over the May bank holiday weekend.
Finn Forster adds another major festival to his schedule

Teesside-born and based Finn Forster also arrives on the 2027 bill after a year in which the steps up have continued to come quickly. SoundBite has followed that progress through his May headline show at The Grove and, more recently, the release of Blame It On You.
His latest single, Blame It On You, was released in October and turns the breakdown of a relationship into something deliberately bigger and more anthemic, with Forster exploring blame, accountability and personal growth through his raw, soulful vocal style.
His 2026 live schedule has been particularly busy. His biggest UK headline tour to date brought him back to the North East for a packed show at The Grove, while the summer included BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, TRNSMT, Boardmasters and the Isle of Wight Festival among a wider run of festival appearances. Strangers also received its first BBC Radio 1 play during that headline run, adding to support from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 2 and Radio X.
Forster now heads back onto the road supporting New York rock artist Des Rocs, beginning in Manchester and London before dates across mainland Europe in October. That combination of headline shows, major festivals, national radio support and international touring gives his In It Together booking plenty of context: it is another step in a progression SoundBite has been documenting throughout the year.
It follows a 2025 in which Forster supported Stereophonics on UK and European dates and appeared alongside JADE at the BBC Proms, while PPL Momentum support and recognition as a Tees Valley Artist of the Year underlined the progress being made closer to home. Rather than retelling that whole story here, In It Together 2027 now sits as the next major festival date in an increasingly substantial live CV.
In It Together returns to Margam in May 2027
In It Together Festival takes place at Old Park Farm, Margam, Wales, from 28–30 May 2027, with organisers describing the current announcement as phase one and further headline names still to be revealed.
The festival spans live bands, pop, dance and electronic music alongside a wider family-friendly programme. The first announcement also includes ArrDee, Gok Wan, Goldie Lookin Chain, Remember Monday, So Solid Crew, Artful Dodger, Big Narstie, A.M.C, Kitty Hall, The Rolling People, The Slates, The Bracknall and Trampolene among many others.
For North East music followers, though, the names worth picking out are Leazes and Finn Forster. Both have spent the past couple of years building from the region outwards, and a place on a large multi-genre festival bill in Wales offers another marker of that progress.
