About Beyond Vinyl
Founded by David McGovern, Beyond Vinyl opened its first Newcastle store in 2018 and has developed into a record shop, live venue and community music hub. Alongside new and second-hand vinyl, it runs in-store gigs, signings and filmed Beyond Sessions for emerging and touring artists.
Getting to Beyond Vinyl
Beyond Vinyl is based at The John Marley Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne. The venue is west of the city centre and is accessible by local bus routes; check current public transport information before travelling. Parking availability can vary around the centre, so allow extra time for evening events.
