Rising star Finn Forster kicked off 2026 with the official music video for latest single, the heartfelt Pablo, a tribute
to his best friend. The visuals were shot in a school, directed by Finn himself, and see him being arrested and taken
in for questioning before the music takes over, and has everyone dancing and singing along.
Finn has explained of the video creation process, “Pablo was easily one of my favourite videos I’ve ever made. The
story of the song is personal for me, and a serious message within a fun track, so I wanted the video to continue
that theme, bringing a potentially difficult situation into a fun and lighthearted space. That’s why we start with me
seemingly being arrested and taken into custody, but as I tell my side of the story, I start to break the fourth wall
with the audience and then my lawyer and the two police officers all come round until we end up partying the night
away together! We had a really small team on this video, and it made the experience so special as everyone from
the videographer, the label and my manager all got involved on the day to make it happen – I love proving what can
happen with a bunch of hardworking people.”
Pablo, which has racked up several plays on BBC Introducing on Radio 1, follows the release of Finn’s EP, Embers,
which came out last Spring. Singles from the 4-track body of work have gone on to receive consistent support from
the likes of BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 2, Radio X, Amazing Radio and more, plus playlist inclusions from streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. The Embers EP marked a brand new chapter for Finn,
and revealed a new sound sonically.
