Britallica Newcastle brings a very different kind of tribute night to The Cluny on Saturday 26 September 2026, turning Britney Spears favourites into a full-volume metal show.
The project bills itself as the world’s first Britney Spears metal tribute, taking familiar pop hooks and rebuilding them with heavier guitars, drums and a deliberately over-the-top live approach.
Britallica at The Cluny
Rather than recreating a conventional Britney Spears concert, Britallica leans into the collision between pop and metal. Songs including “Toxic” and “…Baby One More Time” are recast with a heavier sound, giving the night a tongue-in-cheek edge without losing the recognisable melodies at the centre of the material.
The Cluny’s compact main room should suit a show built around crowd reaction, nostalgia and a knowingly loud twist on pop classics.
