NE-O is a Newcastle rapper and independent artist who has spent years building his career from the North East. Also known as North East One, he produces and releases his own music, books his own shows and has developed a strong local following through hometown performances and grassroots activity.
His catalogue includes singles such as “Seventeen”, “Snowing”, “Rich”, “Peugeot” and the 2026 release “Cypher Episode 3”. Alongside Newcastle shows, NE-O has performed at festivals including Reading & Leeds and Kendal Calling and has supported artists including Chiedu Oraka.
The project is closely tied to Newcastle, both in name and identity, and NE-O continues to work independently from the city while building a wider UK audience.
