DADs

DADs are a Newcastle electronic duo working across UK garage, 2-step and bass. Their production leans on saturated synths, shuffled percussion, vocal chops and the heavier end of underground club music, giving the tracks plenty of low-end weight without losing their sense of movement.

The duo’s releases include DoYouSee, Wub1out and the 2026 single No Longer See. Their work has appeared through Noise Pollution Recordings and other independent electronic outlets, with the sound sitting closer to the deeper and rougher side of UK bass than polished dance-pop.

DADs have also brought that material into Newcastle’s grassroots live and club scene, where the rhythmic detail and heavier production can be experienced at full volume. The project adds another strand to the city’s broad electronic community, connecting garage roots with a more experimental bass-heavy approach.
