The Gift are an emerging North East act developing through the Northern Roots programme, a regional platform designed to give new artists more space, support and live experience.
An October 2026 appearance at Pilgrim Newcastle puts The Gift into a breakout performance alongside Fred Chyke with a live house band. That setting gives the project more room than a short showcase slot, allowing the material to be presented with a fuller live arrangement.
The show is part of a wider push around new North East talent, placing The Gift within a network of artists building their audience through regional development programmes and grassroots venues rather than waiting for a traditional industry route.
