Vice Killer are an indie and alternative band from Peterlee, County Durham, formed in 2020. Their music draws on North East places, working-class stories and melodic guitar writing, developing from early EP releases into a broader album-length sound.
The band released their second EP Keep On Fighting On in 2024 before following it with debut album A Miners’ Capital in May 2025. Their catalogue includes songs such as In This Place, Bright from the Bay, Leo and Life’s Machine, with each release adding more detail to a project rooted firmly in the region.
Vice Killer continue to appear across the North East live circuit, keeping Peterlee and County Durham central to their identity while pushing the songs into venues around the wider region. That combination of local storytelling and a growing guitar-led catalogue gives the band a clear place within the current North East indie scene.
