Marrapalooza – Newcastle Festival Guide
Marrapalooza is an independent Newcastle multi-venue festival showcasing grassroots music across Ouseburn and neighbouring stages. Started in 2023 by small independent promoters, it has developed around an ambitious mix of UK grassroots artists rather than relying on major commercial headliners. The Ouseburn Valley is particularly well suited to that approach because audiences can move between established independent music spaces while remaining within one of Newcastle’s strongest creative neighbourhoods. This evergreen SoundBite guide follows future dates, venues, line-up announcements, tickets and the latest Marrapalooza coverage.
About Marrapalooza
Marrapalooza is Newcastle’s independent multi-venue grassroots music festival, created by Portions For Foxes and Flat Four Records. It spreads across venues in the Ouseburn Valley and Northumbria University, with a deliberately broad programme spanning punk, folk, experimental music, singer-songwriters, metal and more. The next edition will be added here when officially confirmed.
