About Northern Kin Festival
Northern Kin Festival is an independent music and camping festival in County Durham, built around live bands, community and a broad rock, folk and roots programme. The camping format makes it a full weekend experience rather than a sequence of standalone concerts, with audiences able to stay on site and move between performances and other festival activity. Its independent identity and emphasis on guitar-led, folk and roots music give Northern Kin a distinct place within the region’s festival calendar. This permanent SoundBite hub follows each new edition, keeping confirmed dates, line-up announcements, camping details and ticket information together without replacing the page each year.
