About Punk on the Tyne
Punk on the Tyne is a Gateshead punk festival based at The Black Bull, combining an all-day live music programme with fundraising for charity. The event grew from the On The Tyne charity all-dayer and has continued with a dedicated punk identity, bringing bands and audiences together in an intimate grassroots setting rather than a large outdoor site. Previous editions have supported causes including Parkinson’s UK, giving the festival a community purpose alongside the music. SoundBite will use this permanent guide to follow the next dates, participating bands, charity information and ticket details.
