Previous editions have used Gateshead International Stadium, giving the event the scale for a substantial electronic music programme and a larger audience than a club night. The festival’s identity sits firmly at the harder end of dance music, with fast tempos and high-impact production central to the experience. SoundBite will use this permanent hub to track future Accelerate dates, venue details, line-up announcements and tickets, alongside related Second Speed coverage from across the region.
