Tickets are selling fast for the first-ever talking tour from Ian Gillan, legendary frontman of Deep Purple, taking place across the UK in April and May 2027. Fans are encouraged to grab theirs before they go up in smoke (on the water)!

The tour will give audiences the rare opportunity to hear Ian himself reflect on more than sixty years in the music industry…sharing stories, memories and moments from an extraordinary career.

This UK-wide series of speaking events promises a treasure trove of unforgettable tales, delivered straight from the man himself in his trademark candid, humorous and unfiltered style.

Ian said, “I’ll be covering a lot of ground, from my early days in Hounslow to whatever might have happened on the latest World Tour with my beloved Deep Purple…and maybe something funky in-between.“

Now spanning more than six decades, Ian’s distinctive and celebrated voice has been heard from his early beginnings with The Javelins in 1962, through to his legendary years with Deep Purple.  Along the way, there’s been a generous sprinkling of rock ’n’ roll pixie dust…from Jesus Christ Superstar and Gillan to Garth Rockett and the Moonshiners, and Repo Depo.
