Get The Blessing and Dilettante play Cluny 2, Newcastle on 25 September 2026 for Newcastle Festival of Jazz and Improvised Music.

Get The Blessing Newcastle comes to Cluny 2 on Friday 25 September 2026 alongside Dilettante as part of Newcastle Festival of Jazz and Improvised Music.
Bristol quartet Get The Blessing have spent more than two decades pulling jazz apart and rebuilding it around heavy grooves, electronics and improvisation. Their official Bandcamp describes them as Bristol-based, while their catalogue includes the Mercury Prize-winning musicians Jim Barr and Clive Deamer alongside Pete Judge and Jake McMurchie.
Get The Blessing and Dilettante at Cluny 2
The bill pairs Get The Blessing with Dilettante, the art-pop project led by Francesca Pidgeon. The combination gives the night a broader shape than a straight jazz double-header, moving between angular instrumental music, loops, saxophone-led arrangements and experimental pop.
The show is part of Newcastle Festival of Jazz and Improvised Music, bringing one of the festival’s headline pairings into Cluny 2’s close-quarters setting.
