The Magnetic North Band

The Magnetic North Band are a North East indie-folk group featuring Rob Hodge, Andrew Stephenson, Andrew Dunn and Kieron Smith. Their music blends groove-led indie with earthy folk, using reflective songwriting to explore life, love and loss.

The members bring experience from earlier bands and solo projects into a sound built for both intimate listening and lively stages. Their early releases include The Ginger Demos and the single Steamboat Wilhelm, while their live work continues to strengthen the band’s regional following.
