Copperhead return to The Point Sunderland on Saturday 26 June 2027 with a later 9pm live set and a songbook built around classic rock. The experienced four-piece cover material associated with Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, Van Halen, The Cult, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.
Table Of Content
That gives this summer date a clear identity before the band even walks on stage. Copperhead are not working from a general decades playlist. Their strength is the heavier guitar side of rock, with enough blues and melodic material in the mix to stop the set becoming one long run of hard-rock songs.
Copperhead back at The Point Sunderland
The June appearance follows another Copperhead date at the same Sunderland venue, so regular visitors may already know what to expect. Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore bring a strong melodic-guitar thread, while AC/DC and Van Halen push the energy higher. Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake and The Cult give the set still more room to move.
Copperhead are live at 9pm and entry is free. It is a later performance than the band’s November 2026 Point date, so anyone who caught that afternoon set should note the change in timing.
A late Saturday rock set
For classic-rock fans, the appeal is straightforward: an experienced North East four-piece, a focused guitar-heavy repertoire and a free Saturday-night slot in Sunderland city centre. The Point is close to Sunderland Station and Park Lane, which also makes the later performance manageable without driving.
Check The Point’s official events page and Copperhead’s On The Case listing before travelling for any timing changes. More venue dates are on SoundBite North East’s The Point Sunderland page and the Upcoming Gigs guide.
