DAY TIME DISCO – COUNTRY at The Point Sunderland

DAY TIME DISCO – COUNTRY brings The Point Sunderland’s daytime party format into country music on Saturday 7 November. The 3pm start makes it an afternoon event rather than a late club night, with the playlist crossing several generations instead of concentrating only on modern country-pop.

Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson and Kenny Rogers sit alongside Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Zach Bryan and Megan Moroney. That gives the room plenty of chances to move between older standards and the songs currently filling country playlists.

Country music across the decades
