FAT DOG brings explosive live show to NX Newcastle

FAT DOG Newcastle brings the South London band to NX on Thursday 4 February 2027, midway through a winter run that stretches from Exeter and Norwich through to Southampton. Doors are at 7pm, and the timing puts Newcastle right inside the band’s current live cycle rather than at the tail end of an older campaign.

FAT DOG Newcastle follows a fresh run of 2026 releases

The NX date follows a particularly active period for Fat Dog, with the band’s official Bandcamp listing 2026 releases including Go Fuck Urself and Cancel Me (I’m Tired). Those tracks sit alongside the chaotic punk, electronic and rave elements that have made their live shows central to the band’s reputation.

The Newcastle show falls one night after Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh and one night before Electric Studios in Sheffield. That makes NX part of a tightly routed February run, with the band already several dates into the tour by the time they reach Tyneside. For a group whose live identity depends heavily on momentum, that positioning should matter.

Fat Dog built their name by pushing guitar music towards techno, industrial noise and club energy rather than keeping those influences separate. Their 2024 debut album WOOF. established that collision on record, while newer material has continued to sharpen the mix rather than smoothing it out.

NX is a sensible room for that kind of performance. The venue offers more scale than the smaller spaces where Fat Dog first developed their reputation, but it still keeps the audience close enough for the physical side of the set to remain central.

FAT DOG play NX Newcastle on Thursday 4 February 2027, with doors at 7pm. Check the official artist and ticket channels before travelling in case support, timings or admission details change.

More Newcastle shows are listed in SoundBite North East’s Upcoming Gigs, while the current NX programme is collected on our NX Newcastle page.
