LLIVELY teams up with First Gigs for an afternoon North East music showcase at The Grove Newcastle on 11 October 2026.
LLIVELY Showcase The Grove Newcastle brings a Sunday afternoon of emerging North East music to St Michael’s Road on 11 October 2026. Doors open at 3pm, music starts at 3:30pm, and the event has been put together in collaboration with First Gigs, giving younger artists and audiences a route into a live setting without turning the day into a conventional evening club show.
LLIVELY has been working around the North East live scene since 2017, with founder Laura Rosierse building showcases around connection, community and creating space for new performers. That local focus is important here because this is not simply a touring package dropping into Newcastle. The entire idea is tied to developing music in the region and making the room feel accessible to people who may be playing or attending their first proper gig.

The partnership with First Gigs makes the afternoon particularly useful. The format gives emerging musicians a stage while also making the event easier for younger audiences to attend.
