Dublon Brings Live Jazz House to The Grove
Norwegian jazz-house artist Dublon brings his live show to The Grove Newcastle on 9 November 2026.

Dublon The Grove Newcastle brings the Norwegian producer’s live jazz-house sound to St Michael’s Road on Monday 9 November 2026. Doors open at 7pm, and the Newcastle date comes during a period where Dublon has been pushing the project beyond streaming playlists and into the clubs that originally inspired its mix of jazz instrumentation and house rhythm.
Dublon’s official site describes a sound shaped by intricate musicianship, driving house beats and the atmosphere of late-night bars and dancefloors. The 2025 debut EP Nectar brought that approach together through collaborations with artists including Nathan Haines, Tour-Maubourg, TABLE and Deza, while 2026 has already produced further singles including Sunrise, I Want Your Love, Sweet Nothings and Grilled Lobster.
Dublon The Grove Newcastle brings the studio sound into a live setting
The word live matters here because the project is not being presented as a standard DJ set. Dublon’s music relies on piano, jazz phrasing, percussion and melodic detail alongside the club framework, so translating that material into a live room gives the arrangements more space to breathe and change.
The Grove is a good fit for that crossover. Its standing floor can still function like a club when the rhythms lock in, but the smaller capacity means the instrumental side will not disappear behind a large production. That makes this a particularly interesting booking for listeners who sit between electronic nights and contemporary jazz shows.
The current period also feels like a step forward for Dublon. The official biography notes more than 50 million streams and a European run that culminated in a Jazz Cafe headline show, while the newer material has continued to bring vocalists and instrumental collaborators into the project.
Grilled Lobster is the most recent release highlighted on Dublon’s official site, giving the Newcastle date a fresh piece of material around which the live set can develop. Rather than simply replaying Nectar, the show should reflect a catalogue that has continued expanding throughout 2026.
Gigantic confirms Monday 9 November at The Grove with 7pm doors. Check Dublon and The Grove channels before travelling for any late changes to timings or entry information.
